X Factor star Sharon Osbourne shares health update after being rushed to hospital

Sharon Osbourne has shared a health update with her fans after being taken to the hospital last week.

The presenter and former X Factor judge was taken ill on the set of her son Jack’s new reality TV show Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror on December 16. She was soon hospitalised for treatment.

“Back home and doing great! Thank you for all the [red heart emoji],” Osbourne wrote on her Instagram page, alongside a picture of her adorned Christmas tree and one of her dogs, husky Elvis.

Jack was the first to share more about his mother’s condition last Saturday, confirming she had been discharged after a day.

“She has been given the all-clear from her medical team and is now home. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

“As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready,” he added.

Osbourne, who is married to Black Sabbath musician Ozzy Osbourne, was previously a co-host on The Talk.

Her stint on the show came to an end following a discussion about race with her former co-anchor Sheryl Underwood. The show was taken off the air while an investigation was carried out, but Osbourne decided to quit and was later replaced by Jerry O’Connell.

In other Osbournes news, MTV’s The Osbournes is getting revived on the BBC to mark the gang’s return to the UK.

Like the original show, it’s expected to follow Sharon and Ozzy and their children Jack and Kelly, though it isn’t clear whether daughter Aimée (who chose to be off-screen during The Osbournes) will feature.
